Friday Night Preview Party

The Friday nite Preview Party kicks off Westfest with music, dancing, food & the Miss Westfest Contest!
The gates open at 5:30 p.m., the Miss Westfest will be crowned at 7:00 p.m. and the music begins at 8:30 p.m. This is the only time you will hear something other than Polka music at Westfest. Friday music is provided by the best Country bands in Texas!.

Taroky Tournament

Players from all over the state compete on Saturday of Westfest for the right to be the Westfest Taroky Champion.  For more information or to enter, contact Brian Sykora at 254-826-5314.

Polka Mass

The Cultural Amphitheater will be the site for the annual Westfest Polka Mass.  This Catholic Mass begins Sunday morning at 10:15 a.m.  Everyone is welcome.

Kolache Baking Contest

Everyone is invited to enter their kolaches in the Westfest Kolache Baking contest on Sunday.

Back this year…..Buchta Contest…….buchta must be 6′” in length and unsliced.

This contest is open to both professional and non-professional bakers. Kolaches must be made of scratch yeast dough and the entries must consist of six average size kolaches of the same filling.
